Quitting job 5 months after EAD

Hi,

I am not sure if this is the right forum to mail this question. I asked my question in the citizenship forum but no response.

My husband worked for the company that sponsored his GC for 4 years. 5 months after he had got his EAD he had quit that company and joined another job and soon after that got his GC. He worked for that company also for 4 years. Both the jobs were same requiring the same skill set. Now next month he will be applying for citizenship and I wanted to know if his change of job 5 months after getting EAD would jeopardise anything?

Any response would be highly appreciated. I am getting very concerned.

Thanks.

DId he inform USCIS when he left his GC sponsoring employer that he is joining another employer..

Also during his time was the AC21 law in effect? I think it got passed in the year 2000.

After he joined the next company he had got a letter from the INS regarding proof of employement I believe because his sponsor company had informed the INS that he had left them. The new company that he had joined after 5 months of getting his EAD sent a letter to the INS about his job.

Will his citizenship process be in any trouble?

Thanks.

It would have taken at least a month after the I485 to get the EAD, and 5 months after that would mean at least 180 days would have passed since filing I485. If the green card was approved with USCIS knowing about the job change, I don't see why it would be a problem for citizenship.
