Hi Guys:

I need some input here. I am on EB1-EA, RD date is 11/28/2001.
I have got the renewed EAD on Jan 7, 2003. AP is approved but lost in the mail somewhere. The lawyer is suggesting to re-apply.
I lost my job in Nov 2002 and have H1-B visa valid till 2004. I need to go for an interview in London/Germany next week.

Can I use H1-B to travel or is it too risky to do so.

I think it may be quite risky. Since you are not in job so technically your H1 status has already expired. At the port of entry immigration officer may ask you to show the recent pay slips. Moreover, evenif they don't ask for pay slips and you succeed in entering in USA, it may pose prolems later on.
So don't take risk. Wait for AP.
