Hello everyone,
I have a question about my work permission. I just got my OPT card 3 days ago through my F1 visa. I am done with my school here in CT and I did not sent work permission form with my I-485 form. Does any of you guys did the same thing? I guess we should get our work permission through the Green Card automatically before we get the GC right? Any comment will be helpful.

Since you already have a work permit through your OPT, and therefore legally authorized to work, there is not need of applying for another one. It will cost you $175 more and won't be any more beneficial.

The fee for i765 has been changed since Oct. Now, its $180. I just wanted to point it out.

You do not need to pay anything if u don't want u. I-765 is not required, it's optional. If u got work permit already based on OPT, u do not need another one.
