Quick question after Finger Prints

We applied for 485 on June 7th at TSC and received finger prints notice on July 2nd and gave finger prints on July 11. What is the next step , How many days usually it is taking now to receive card or notice for stamp after fingter prints at TSC . Please reply if you are sure ONLY , based on your reply I need to apply for EAD. Thanks

My question is after finger print when do we get Green Card ( sometimes I guess they stamp in the passport too ) . How long is it taking at TSC after finger prints to receive the card.

To get GC it will be months, years. Nobody knows how long will it takes to process. I advice you to apply for EAD before July 30th (at least you do not have to pay new fees if you appply before July 30th).

I have looked and looked and spoken to many many ppl about the very same question and the response I got is exactly what is mentioned in the post right above mine. No one really knows. So, I guess we cannot do anything but WAIT! And more WAIT!

Talk about having to learn the word "patience" all over again!

Finger printing appointment may not be considered as a good sign of approval, it is just a standard procedure. It may have shown you that your case process has been started, but that is all it can tell. Everyone's mile to 485 approval/denial may vary.
