Quick one on I-693

Do we usually get a copy of I-693 from the civil surgeon? If not, how do we know if the result is good or bad?

My understanding is - as long as you get a sealed envolope that says "INS document, do not open", that means the civil surgeon has signed the form and you have "met the medical requirements for adjustment of status". Am I right?

Thank you.

I did not receive a copy but the doctor told me everything checked out. I don't understand why your Civil Surgeon did not give you a analysis of your test results verbally. As you know, with this you cannot open the envelope. Perhaps you can go back to the doc's office and get a copy. I don't have an "sure" answer for the last part of your question but it would have been told to you if you did not pass. Hope this helps somewhat!

I see that you are getting the process together. ;) Good luck. I am praying for you.

I am not sure if I am currect but I hear from the doctor is:
if there is something wrong with your health, they have to treat you first, until you are healthy, they will give you addition form says you had been treated. And you can send out all the documents together. So if your doctor didn't say they have to treat you, I think you are fine.

I asked for a copy but was told that I do not get a copy but the doctor said everything was ok. If there was a problem you would have to be advised and treated so I guess everything is ok with you.
