Quick EAD and AP, but not 485

Two weeks ago, I renewed my EAD and AP. They were all approved by TSC within two weeks. Just don't understand about TSC. It looks like they have enough resource and manpower to process these cases. Why do they put more efforts on 485!! I think they do it on purpose to get more revenue?! :mad:

If the ND is in 2004, is there anyway I can inquire to make sure they didn't make mistakes on my case such as not initial name check, lost FP results, ..... Hopeless ...

There is no logical reasoning behind TSCs actions. It would make sense to approve 485s instead of wasting time approving EADs and APs. These days TSC has many excuses for not approving 485s. The biggest one is "Name Check". Since the FBI conducts this check, the TSC conveniently points the finger at them. When we inquire with the FBI, they state that TSC never initiated the name check request. Both agencies blame eachother and we get screwed in the process.

The problem is that there is no easy way to find out if the Name check is pending. Some pepople have had luck by writing to their Senators office. Some others have called the FBI and found out. You can also email the FBI about the namecheck but they typically reply in 6 months.
