Queue up even with visa appointment in Canada?

Hi,

Is it still necessary to show up early at the US Consulate even if I have an appointment? My appointment is at 10am in Toronto, how early should I be there?

Naah, just be there by 9:45am. The guard will start collecting documents around 9:55 or so. Make sure to have all your supporting documents.
