When you go for interview at the US Consulate, each embassy have different preference towards the documents.

Has anyone done their DV Interview at US Consulate in Montreal?

Here are my questions:

How are payments of $775 be made, Debit Card, Visa, or Cash?

What documents does Montreal US Consulate prefer, offer letter from US, Canadian Bank Statement showing balance above US Poverty Line, and/or I-134 Affidavit of Support? Do they even accept the money in Canadian Bank?

Does the Montreal US Consulate ask for notarized letter of employment from the current employer? What if you don't have a current employment? I know current employment is what the applicant has stated on DS-230 Part 1, Question 12, Present Occupation.

Montreal US Consulate will temporarily reject you if you try to sponsor yourself with Canadian Funds even if it is well over American Poverty Line. Temporarily rejected until either US Sponsor fills I-134 Affidavit of Support or Employee Offer Letter.

Temporary reject!!
" No Canadian Assets Or continuing Canadian funds can be counted even if it is
well above Poverty Limit. require a US Sponsor.. or Employee Offer Letter
