questions regarding visitor visa for my parents

I just wanted to know if we can apply a visa with my mom attending the interview in telugu and dad in english.
Will that be a problem. Can she get a telugu translator during the interview?

It is better both your parents attend the interview at the same time. Your father can answer the visa officer's questions in english and why to go for the translator when your father is there with your mom. If your parents are coming to US separately then they can appear for the interview separately having different translator.
