Questions regarding citizenship application

Hello,

I have a few questions regarding citizenship application:
1. Selective service letter: I was over 30 years when I got my GC. I was on non-immigrant visa prior to that. Do I still need to get a letter from Selective service? Anyways, what is the procedure to get a letter from them?
2. I had a speeding ticket for driving over 100 mph in California. Technically, I believe that the California vehicle code for reckless driving is different than the vehicle code for driving over 100mph. Could this cause any problem in my application?
3. Would you suggest that I see an immigration attorney?
4. Does anybody have a recommendation for an immigration attorney in the bay area (California)?
5. What is the procedure for obtaining certified court record for the speeding ticket?

Thanks a lot

1. Go here (http://www.sss.gov/instructions.html) to find out how to get a Status Information Letter.

2. You will have to reveal your ticket. You do not need to provide supporting documentation with the N-400 if there was no arrest and the only penalty was a fine of not more than $500 and/or points on your license. Get a court record to show to the interviewer if and when they ask for it. They generally ignore simple speeding tickets.

3. You can consult one if you want to. IMO, you don't need to.

4. No idea.

5. Generally you need to check with the court clerk for the county where the violation occurred.
