Questions on OCI

I am getting ready to send our OCI application(s). A couple of questions I have.

1. In the place of birth column, should we put the actual birth place or the ones in US passport. My USP shows just India.
2. If I made some mistake in the Part A, can I just submit another application? Or is there a way to edit the current application.
3. What is the preferred mailing method (FEDEX, USPS priority or certified?).

1. Write place name,India. For example, New Delhi, India.
2. You cannot edit an existing online application. You are better off registering again and submitting that application.
3. I used USPS Certified.

My OCI has been granted without any issues. I did all the above except for No.2. I did not make any mistakes on Part A so the issue never occurred.
