Questions on Interim EAD - Please respond

I am in a tight situation. I am waiting for approval of 3rd EAD renewal. I applied online 12/29/03. So far no luck. My EAD expires on 03/27/04. So I may have to go to Oklahoma City local office to get Interim EAD if i don't get my EAD approved next week. Did anyone of you have any iEAD experiences with this office? Please reply.

Also can i go to Dallas District office instead of Oklahoma City? I know for sure Dallas office issues iEAD on the same day. I am not sure about Oklahoma City.

I live 150 miles from OKlahoma City office. So i would have to take off a day from work. Any help/pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Many ppl shared Online EAD as painfull experience.......
if u browse some previous about online EAd........ you will see..many ppl experience.....anyway........

First you filled little late.... why....... don't know why did u count exact 90 days.......... you should be filling on Oct 2003 atleast 90 days + 2 monhts ahead before it expires .......because many online EAD got RFEs and response time receiving answering RFE entereing entering in system+officer notice RFE...... 14+14+7 working days....... as safe side....

I am not tying to discourage u or hurting ur feeling this is just ppl who are planning to submit E-EAD...... so noone get stuck in this situation

Anyway...... you have inturm option 90-120 days (check ur receipt). then u can go ahead to local INS office for interm EAD.

I like to advise ppl who are planning for E-EAD......... some got very lucky ...... but some ppl do shared their painful exp.

I just learned the another member ' kamal' .....he is also in same situation........ I also give him advise to go on Monday 22 and explain the situation to officer and try if they understand and enough kind .... read his thread.... pls

You can go to the nearest office to get an iEAD. But I doubt any INS office will issue an interim EAD before 90 days. You can try your luck though.

Also I want to know if i can get iEAD at a different service center.

I believe this would be in ur favour to go and talk and be super nice while talking them....... don't ask them policies..... just request nicely if they can help u out to issue interm EAD.......

just try ur Luck......... talk them ........... explain the problem .......... . you don't know if somehitng good officer is waiting for u...... don't ask policies from them....... be super nice....ask them if they can help u out and issue EAD.......... don't just sit home and waste ur time.......go ahead and try it.
