Questions on Experience Letters

I am preparing experience letters for my I-140. I worked for Company A in India for 5.5 years, Company B in Singapore for 1 year, and Company C in US for 10 months before I joined Company D in March 2000. I have been working with Company D since then and Company D is my green card sponsor.

My LC ETA750 Part A stated 5 years as the minimum experience requirement. On my ETA750 Part B box 15 my attorney listed all my prior working experence with Company A, B, and C. I had no problem getting experence letters from Company A and B. However, I have tried very hard but still unable to get the letter from Company C which no longer exists any more.

My question is: Is it sufficient to submit just the letter from Company A with I-140 application? I think that 5.5 years of experence with Company A is already more than the minimum required in my LC. In addition, the letter from Company A covered all other requirements such as Oracle PL/SQL etc.

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Yes.

Company A letter is sufficient, but Company C exp is in US, so USCIS may ask you at the time of 485 processing to prove your legal status.

Its my $0.02 openion.

Get a letter from co worker

Hi,
I guess you can get a letter from any of your co-workers from Com C stating that he/she know you and describing hte nature of your job should be fine. USCIS might ask you to provide all exp. letters for which you claimed exp. on your labor certification application.
