I am applying for canada immigration and i will be glad if someone goes through this patiently and answer my questions..Even if you do not know answers to all of them , please reply for the ones which you know. Thanks a lot in advance.
1.How do i prove language proficiency without taking tests. Is there any template which i can use. I do not want to take tests. Can i get sample letters which i can use as templates to support my proficiency??
2.Also is police certificate and clearances a must along with other documents intially itself while submitting the application or can it be sent later??If it is required initially how do i get one. what is the procedure??
3.Iam from INDIA and since i am staying in USA they wants to include the pages of the passport where i carry the visa to the place where i am currently residing(in my case USA)but right now my VISA is expired in june 2004 though i am in legal status as i have H1 B approved until july 2005.
Is it ok or do they expect me to carry a VISA which is good through july 2005.
4. Work experice letter:
In the application reference guide it says to send copies of
-Notarized employment contracts from your present and past employers, accompained by an english or french translation.
-Original and up-to-date letters of reference from your past and current employers.letters must be written on company letterhead and show the company's full address, telephone, and fax numbers and be stamped with the company's office seal.
Letters must include all of the following information:
- specific period of your employment with the company.
- the positions you have held during the period of employment
and the time spent in each position.
-your main responsibilities in each position.
- your total annual salary plus benefits
- the signature of your immediate supervisor or the personnal officer of the company.
- a business card of the person signing.
But i have experience letters from previous employers but what do you mean by notarized contracts from employers??Also i may not be able to produce the business card of the person signing and the supervisor of the company.
Basically is it a must to prepare experience documents based on above points or just an experince letter of each and every company worked for is enough.
I am sorry to compile all the questions into one but i will appreciate if anyone can guide me. I am planning to apply since 2 months but am no where still.
