questions on AC21

I have a few questions on job change adn Ac21 -

1. A person is waiting for several years after filing I-485.
He has received an offer from another company, not yet
signed up on the offer. At that moment, the I-485 gets
approved. Would he need to continue working for the
sponsoring employer (not the new company) ?

2. Same situation as above, except he has signed up
the offer, however the I-485 gets approved, before he
starts work with the new company.


3. Same question as 1, except he has not yet received
a formal offer letter but is shopping around, and should
land up an offer pretty soon.


4. The person does not have a job with the sponsoring
employer any more, he is looking
around when the I-485 gets approved. What needs to
happen ?

5. The person does not have a job with the sponsoring
employer any more and is looking around, when instead of
the I-485 approval, an RFE on employment is issued, giving
12 weeks to respond (tough luck)!!!. What needs to happen ?

A general question - as per 'same or similar' job in AC21 do
the titles Director of Software Development/Product Development
or Vice President SOftware Development/Product Development
- where a person is responsible for all software work in a
company sound similar ?

The job should be similar. BCIS does not take a narrow view of job title or description or salary.
If your 485 is approved while not on job: At stamping time sometimes thay want employer details/pay stubs etc.
