Hello

I need some assistance in filing the I-485 for my wife and have some questions regarding of where to file.

I'm filling the following forms:
I-485 -Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status
G-325A - Biographic Information
I-130 - Petition for Alien Relative I-864, Affidavit of Support
I-693 - Medical Examination
I-765 - Application for employment.

I live in Maryland and it tells me to file at
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services
P.O. Box 805887
Chicago, IL 60680-4120

but the I-765 says to file at
the Vermont Service Center.

Now is that correct or do I file the I-765 to the Chicago address together with the other forms???

also do I send out 4 sets of copies of the G-325A form. The reason I ask is because the I-485 requests one set for myself and one for my wife, and the I-130 also requests one set for myself and one for my wife.

any help would be appreciated.

Thank You
Peter

File everything together at the Chicago lockbox as it says on the front of the I-485, including the I-765.

I believe you need 2 copies of the G-325A for the beneficiary and 1 for your petitioner, yes. Each "Copy" consists of 4 duplicated pages.

EDIT: I changed this as I'm not clear if you or your wife are the USC.

thanks for the help.
I'm on my way to USPS to send out the package.

by looking at your timeline, it looks like you had your interview in a short period of time after sending the application. It sounds promising.

thanks again
Peter

Well I haven't had my interview yet, but yes, it seems that 3-4 months between filing and getting the interview is becoming the norm these days. Good luck with your application!
