My wife got her passport stamped recently, which is in her Maiden name. GC is under her married name.
We are planning a trip to India. Will this cause a problem in India? Ticket will be in her married name. and we will be carrying our marriage certificate with us (we got married in Iowa!!!)

We plan to change the passport as soon as we come back

check the indian consulate's website..

you can get your wife's passport changed to reflect the name after marriage quite easily.

It is a day's work at the consulate in San Francisco. check your closest consulate's website..others are located in NYC, Chicago and DC

Is it OK still for her to travel with her maiden name on the passport.......Just exploring options
