Thanks for your scan file. Couple of questions for you here:

1, how do you know which file is from NSC? by postfix from 50000-59999?
2, is the three-digit date the calendar day of the year? For example, mine is 268, it means the 268th day of the year?

all the cases in my excel sheet/scan are NSC cases (LIN)
268 day is the 268 day of the fiscal year (starting Oct of every year)
Going by my calculations and my case number 268 would be approximately the first week of Sept? Hope this has answered your question.

Thanks a lot for your information. One more question here: How do we know if the scanned I485 case is employment type or family type? Furthermore, is EB2 or EB3 if it is employment type? Are you able to know this by scanning?
