Questions Concerning application to Citizenship

Hello !!

I am a Permanent Resident of USA since Feb 2002 and my fiance is a Permanent Resident of Australia but now studying in the US with F1 visa.
I believe I am eligible for applying for citizenship around Dec this year.
My parents are pressurising us to marry ASAP.
But I am just wondering if I should marry and then apply for citizenship or it is better to apply for citizenship and then marry.
Please advice,

It is not going to make any difference as far as your N-400 processing is concerned. You can sponsor him for GC once you get married and you become a citizen.
