Questions at POE

Hi there, I just had a successful interview in London under EB3 category and got my passport back with the immigrant visa. I have a few questions about what wold happen at port of entry. I know my visa is good for 6 months and I'm not planning on traveling to the US for another 5 months or so. Do I need to have additional evidence that I will be working for my employer at POE? I have been working in the US for a few years before I moved to London and have been out of the country for a couple of years. Would they care that I won't know the exact date of starting work? I'm planning on starting work after I get my family settled in - I imagine after a month or two. Is there any reason I should be nervous because of the fact that I won't know exactly when I will start work with my sponsoring employer? Anyone with similar experience or expertise, please share with me. Thank you.

u are expected to work for your GC sponsoring employer upon your return to US as GC holder. That is as per my understanding. Hence you should start working for them very soon after you enter into US. HOwever plz consult a good attorney to clarify on it.
