Questions after I-485

I wanted to change my job into a totally different area for a long time. Because of the painful Green card process, I've lost a lot of excellent chances during the past two years. Right now it seems I will have a very good opportunity. However, my I-485 just got approval but I have not stamped yet. According to the information from this forum, I may need up to another half year to get the real card. Will my job change have bad influence during this stage? I am tired of my current job but don't want to do anything wrong at this moment.

How is your ....

Boyfriend ;)

Wish you the best .... wait till you get stamped.

The only point which comes up, is at the time you go for citizenship. They might consider it as a fraud on your part. Its basically upto you how big a risk you are willing to take.

six months is a general suggestion

if your employer is mean, he/she could report to the BCIS that you werent looking for "permanent" employment. That could potentially revoke your GC. Unless you are dealing with a ruthless employer it should be okay. I know some people who changed after three months. Its not a rule just a suggestion.
