Questions about RIR

I worked for a medical school as a programmer/analyst III and the school agrees to sponsor my GC by RIR. My school is going to put the requirement of master degree in the ads. My question is how many ads I need to do to meet the requirement of RIR? Talked to an attorney and she said that putting the ads in one newspaper for 3 weeks and also listing on the same agency's website for 4 weeks will be sufficient for RIR. I've done some research on the internet but found out several answers. Any advises will be highly appreciated.

It varies from state to state. In some areas one print ad and supplemental efforts are enough and yet other regions have indicated that they are unlikely to approve RIR LCs for IT professions.

I am in NC. Is it sufficient for me to do just one ads plus online listing for RIR? I appreciate your help.
