Hello,
If you remember I asked a question couple of months ago about my fiance' who is on J1 and was refused to get endorse her visa while she was overseas. Now US Embassy asked her to come over for J1 endorsement since they got her name cleared. Now question is, she already lost her fellowship because of this delay. However, she is legally in status until July this year.
My questions are:
1) Is it possible for her to come over on J1 and try finding another fellowship
or apply for a waiver and go for an underserve area? If she go for this option as we know it will take somewhere about a year.
How realistic it is to find a waiver in next four months?
2) Is it better to apply for another fellowship and transfer to another hospital to start within next few months before her status is over ?
Again, how realistic it is to find a fellowship in next four months?
She is opt to go for J1 waiver to relieve herself from J1 restrictions as soon as she can. Fyi, I will marry her probably in next couple of months and I sponsor her in early 2008 once I become citizen.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions.
