Questions about new Baby born process

Hi every one,

I am expecting a new baby next November, and I have questions about the process :

1- Should I send only the DS-230 for the new baby,
2- Should I Re send my DSP-122 and DS-230 with corrected Infos,
3- Should I re send my wife corrected DS-230.
4- Any documents Other than the 2 forms, should I submit.

Thanks in Advance

Family members not included on the initial entry may cause the case to be disqualified. Extenuating circumstances such as; you have been married or had a child after the initial application submission may be acceptable. If you meet either of these circumstances a photocopy of the marriage and/or birth certificate, along with English translations, should be provided with the completed forms. If you need to obtain additional DS 230 Parts I & II forms, you may download them at: http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/forms/forms_1342.html .

When the baby is born you will send a 230 form for the baby (along with a copy of the birth cert) and also corrected 230 forms for the other applicants (i.e. whole new set of forms since you will need to include the child to each 230.

Thanks for your answers forum mates.
I will send them DS 230, photos and birth certificate of the baby.
And of course mine and my wife's corrected forms.

I have the same case, but I live in country not my home country. My question is:
Should I present the birth certificate issued from the foreign country that I live now or from my home country. It takes long time to issued from my home country. Also it is very difficult to capture a photo for small baby because he cannot open his eye

The birth certificate from the country the baby is born in is fine. But you will need a passport for the baby too.
I think they are lenient with baby photos as they understand they can't pose...but you also need to check what the requirements for the baby's passport photo are.

Susie is exactly right, as usual - I remember the photo requirements for a baby are relaxed somewhat.

FYI, if you do get a birth cert from the foreign country (and then do CP at home) you may need to have that document translated for the interview.

Hi friends,

After all that times I didn't update my case yet. the baby girl is almost 5 months.
I contacted KCC and ask them if I can submit corrected forms and the new born document by email. here their response :

Thank you for your inquiry.
You may correspond with KCC using email or any form of mail delivery, including DHL, FedEx, UPS, Express, and USPS. You may submit your forms to the email address at KCCDV230@state.gov.

What do you think friends, is there any risk of submitting documents and baby photo by email?

You might be able to do tat, but personally I would send by mail to ensure they have a physical photo.
