Questions about moving while waiting for interview

I was wondering once I get my work permit can I move while I wait for the interview for my adjust of status? The reason I wonder this is because I was offered a job in AZ I am in MT now and would like to move once I get my EAD card My husband is diabled and I will be the one supporting my family and jobs are just not that great here. We have a attorney as well doing my paperwork. Any advice would be appercaited Thank you

my two cents: Do not plan to move until your interview is done and green card is mailed. If you move right now, you will be required to do an official change of address, which means your case will be moved to AZ, meaning that you might have to wait a (god knows what) time to receive the interview notice. BUT, if you are in a real hurry to move there, and life situations come into place, then go ahead and move.

BUT, if you are in a real hurry to move there, and life situations come into place, then go ahead and move.

I agree with Hogwart. Moving now can make things complicated: paperwork gets lost, long wait, etc...

I was afaird of that, I have a job offer with benifits and my kids and my husband have to have medical (hubby is on O2 and has seziures and other health issues) oldest is bi polar and youngest has asthma...once all my paperwork comes thru they lose there state medical so I need a job with benifits and this offer is in AZ at a bank (a friend manages it and says she would hire me n/p 10-12 hr) so although it wont happen in the next month I would like to be there by aug/sept...My papers where all sent in for the 2nd time beg of May (1st time was apr 11 and they was all returned saying the checks where the wrong amount but the checks where fine so the lawyer resubmitted the I-130 end of april and the I-485 and 765 May 4th. maybe with any luck things will go thru quickly I really dont want to pass up this job offer

Then I wouldn't worry. It's going to be a long ride anyways, so take the job offer. Just file the AR-11 change of adress immediately upon your arrival at the new adress. And don't forget to call the 1-800 to confirm.
I'd say the whole process of getting a GC takes at least 6 months, so probably the best thing to do is take a better job.
In addition, you could track the status of your application and look at the processing dates on-line, that way you'll get the idea how long it's gonna take to process the thing.
