Questions about Landing in Canada

I am planing to land in Canada and return back to US with in 2-3 days. I will be giving my friend's address for mailing PR Card.

1.When going out of Canada would they ask PR Card ?.
2.Do I need PR Card to re enter Canada?
3.Do I have to go in person to collect the PR card or mailing address in Canada is fine?.

I recently landed. Always remain truthful to the officer you don't need to tell them you are entering and leaving but if they ask tell them that you are it is perfectly legal after all you have three yrs within 5 yr window to move permanently, you don't need PR card to leave canada just the US visa to enter.

You can have your friend mail you the card once he gets, also if they ask you to come back to Canada to pickup the card or for any other issues you need the travel document only if you are returning by commercial means of transportation bus,air,boat etc if you drive across the border you don't even need that you can enter with your landing papers and passport.

See the CIC web site it clearly states that if you drive you DON'T need the travel document, the visa officer told us the same thing
