My lawyer just told me INS send the interview letter for my 485. My EB3 485 app is still in backlog. So what is this about? Anyone has the same experience? How long does it take to get GC after the interview?

Once you successfully complete your interview (& all the checks), you still need your PD to become current before getting your 485 formally "approved"

Assuming that you are from one of the retrogressed countries, your PD (3/03) is at least 8 to 12 months away from becoming current (that is after Oct 1, 2005). Again this is a really offhand guess - no one knows PD movement for sure - it has no known pattern ;)

The good thing for you after clearing your interview is the assurance that when PD is current, you will be done -- its a better situation than most others.
