My I-485 was filed on 10/03/02 and I-140 was approved on 12/20/02 (CSC). Online status shows that on 12/16/02, the fingerprint result has been got and the I-485 resumed. Then I want to know how long I still need to wait to get the I-485 approved from now? I hope to go back homeland for Christmas this year, but I am not sure whether I can since I know that if using AP to go out and come back, then the I-485 will also stop and resume, that will get more delay, right?
Another question is that if I get I-485 approved, but no real GC card available, will some so-called stamp on the passport become a temporary GC for me (and function as the real GC card?)? Or I still need apply AP to travel?
