I am preparing the I-485 filing (employment based) and have the following questions.
1. Do I need to do the Affidavit of Support for my wife? If so, which form shall I use - I-864 or I-134?
2. If I file for EAD with I-485 and the EAD gets approved, what will be the starting date of the EAD?
3. On form I-765 (Application for Employment Authorization), item 11 states: "Have you ever before applied for employment authorization from INS?" My wife has never applied for OPT, but she has been working under H1B status. Shall we answer 'Yes'?
