questions about fingerprinting

Hello All,

My daughter is scheduled for fingerprinting on March 25 at Philly office. She has other important appointment at the same time. Is it better to rescheduled this appoitment and get the fingerprinting done or we should reschedule the fingerprinting appointment? I have heard that second option can delay the whole application process and should be avoided at all costs. I will really appreciate some opinions about this from the senior members.

Also is it possible for her to take this FP letter and show up for FP say after a week? Will they allow that?

If is not to far for her, she could try before March 25 to walk in and have her FP taken.
Postponing is, always, not a good idea with CIS.

My wife had similar problems, so she just showed up before the scheduled date and got FP done. Go there with a credible excuse and if possible supporting documentation. Also go on a Thursday etc. when the workload for them is smallest, so they would not turn you away.
