I have a MS & BS in Civil Engineering. I have been working for 5 years. I am working as a project engineer for a construction company in Los Angeles, Ca. I have no license as it is not required by my company and the nature of my work. My job duties are related to overseeing construction activities.
I am going to file labor cert application soon:
1. What job title and NAICS Code should I use? Civil Engineer?
2. Should i file EB2 or EB3?
3. What is the best way I should fill out Section H "Job Oppurtunity Info" of the Form 9089?
4. I was told that the INS will have problem with an applicant who has the title of "Civil Engineer" but no license. Is that true? I was told that INS may deny the application eventhough it passes DOL. Is that true?
5. An attorney was advising to use MS in Civil Engineering with no experience, and no other alternate field of study, and no other alternate combination of level of education and experience. What do you think?
