I have petitioned for my father who lives in India. Currently I am in India too. His interview is scheduled early July at the Mumbai Consulate. I have a few questions regarding the interview.

- What questions can one expect to be asked? Is there a sample list available for reference on this forum?
- Can I (the petitioner) accompany my father for the interview? If so, is it as simple as walking in with my dad or must I do something more to inform the consulate.
- I understand that in Mumbai the interview can be conducted in Gujarati. Must I do anything in advance or can that be requested on the day of the interview.
- Someone suggested my dad carry some kind of picture album with old and new family pictures as additional evidence that we are related as father and daughter. Is that necessary?
