Questions about AR-11

Because I'm leaving the U.S. for a year at least and nobody is present at my address to receive my mail, I electronically submitted AR-11 with my friend's address - and I wrote that this would be temporary for 2 years.

1) When I get back to the U.S. do I need to change my address again to that previous address ?
2) For those 2 years, do I also need to replace my drivers licence? In other words, must the driver licence show address on the AR-11 ?
3) Are there any limitations, for instance, how often one can submit the AR-11, or any other issue?

1) When you return, change your address to wherever you'll be living at the time.
2) No. Although letting the license expire could create other difficulties, such as more paperwork for renewal or higher insurance rates for having the gap of license validity.
3) No. Just don't get ridiculous by doing something like filing a new one every week.

2) the licence is still valid for 5 years, only the address will not be the same as on AR-11

Leave that field blank. It is not mandatory to fill that column, and you will be fine as you are writing in other field that your AOS application is pending.
