(searched the forum for this, but couldnot find any response)

one quick question; for my h1b visa and my wife's h4 visa

form ds-156, question 26 : how long do you intend to stay in the us.

answer : april 25, 2005 (that is when my h1-b visa expires.) even though my aos has been pending for more than 14 months now.
is this correct? what should be filled in here.

for my wife's h4 visa;

form ds-156, question 37: are any of the following persons in the us, or do they have us legal permanent residence or us citizenship? mark yes or no and indicate that person's status in the us (i.e, us legal permanent resident, us citizen, visiting, studying, working etc.)

answer: husband staying in us, working on h1b (i have never used ead and/or ap. i have maintained my h1b status all along)

is this correct?

You are right

- On the first one you have to write the date of your H-1B expiry becuase AOS doesn't have date.
- Again for your wife, you have to say, husband in US working on H-1, no need of any EAD, AP references.

The only place you talk about GC is where they ask if someone has applied for an Immigrant Visa for you, mention the name of the company who applied for GC for you, it will not be applicable to your wife's form.
