Questioned by FBI in the post 911 paranoi

If an applicant was questioned by FBI post 911 and before even the applicant received GC, called to a public place, a cafe and asked about various questions like what do you do? Where do you live? etc nothing apparently incriminating but simply because the person (on face of it) was of certain religion and country.

The applicant voluntarily went to the meeting and was free to go after the meeting.

I assume he doesn't need to mention this on N400 form?

in a cafe.. is not detention nor an arrest. plus if you receive your green card and was allow to stay all these years, one can assum that you are not a threat.
