Question?

I got both my EAD and parole approval forwarded to new address in same city.

Clearly an oversight of your local post office (which turned out to be lucky for you). Most government postal correspondence bear a "Do not forward" stamp. Quite often busy post offices miss it though.
 
as long as you have forwarding request submitted

BCIS correspondence (except for the Actual GREEN CARD) does get forwarded at the new address.
I got all my notices, EAD approvals at the new address
 
I've always received my INS mail forwarded from an old home address....but then....it depends on how the local post office does things....I would just give a friends address in the jurisdiction you filed your case in...that way, you are sure to get your mail !
