Here's a little scenario I would like to get some input on.
I am a concurrent filer labor subsitution. I-140 and 485 filed together. Unlike most people (who go from H1B to this phase) I am adjusting from tourist (B1-B2). I've seen many cases where BCIS issues RFEs on the I-485 before approval for things such as tax returns, recent pay stubs, job letter, etc. Is it possible for them to issue an RFE in my situation for a tax return? I've thought about it and it doesn't seem possible since my green card approval should come later this yr. or early 2004 and I have never filed for taxes in the US. Input from jim, jaxen or other experienced people on this forum are appreciated. Just would like to get a different take on this. Thanks.
