Guys/Gals,

If anyone could clear my doubt i would really appreciate it.

Do we need to be in continuous employment when I-485 is pending for over 180 days. What if you get laid off after 180 days and you find a job after a couple of months. And when you get ur RFE (after an interview) and you show your current employment letter or future employment letter is that valid? Or does the INS want you to be in a job during the entire period of your I-485 application?

I think It is the entire tenure. Even though you can change jobs using AC-21, you should be employed in the same field continuously.

No You need not be continously employed

As far as I know you need not be continously be employed even after 180 days .GC is for "future" job so You have to be employed by the time youn are either approved or at the time of intrerview.
