anybody got FP notice from a different service center.I just noticed my Fp notice came from VSC eventhough i applied in NSC

Will credit rating impact GC application?

Dear community,

Do anyone knows if one's credit rating plays a key part in GC process? Besides background check, will they check on one's credit rating?

My friend just found out his credit rating is very extremely poor due to unpaid credit card bills accumulated during his college days and he is not able to secure any loans as a result of that. He has just filed for I140/485 with CSC.

I don't think credit rating has to do anything with GC process, but any criminal charges may have impact on decision of I-485 approval.
