Guys,

I have applied for my I-140 in october 2003 and I-485 in november 2003. All of the applications (EAD, AP, etc.) are pending. I have applied them from VSC.

My Question is at what time of the process, I can be confident that now even if I lose my job I can switch to a different company and my green card process will go on smoothly.

In other words, what are the minimum criteria to switch the company which applied for my green card? Evidently this is the company which holds my visa.

Any help and answer is appreciated.

The criteria is:
140 approved and 485 pending for 180 days.

I don't know what the 140 approval time estimates are right now. I got mine in 14 months- recently approved Nov'03.
