I am new here but I am a question burning in mind, which will be very much appreciated if it can be answered.
While on F1 student in U.S, I was notified during the winter break of my freshman year of college that my parents won the DV. So I came back to Myanmar (where I am from) and we, as a family, all came here and got our green cards. But when we got here, my parents are more inclined to go back to Myanmar, where their business and relatives reside. So I am wondering what will happen to me and my brother here, who want to study in U.S for college education and beyond, if my parents decided not to stay here. I am turning 21 in a year; my brother is now 16. I also have a uncle here so can I change our dependence to our uncle from my parents? If I become 21, can my brother be my dependent? (I will be still in college though).
