You old post said you got your plastic GC 3 months after the stamping. Can you please inform us which local office you went for stamping and where your plastic GC came from.

it does not depend on the local office. But i did it in Newark local office anyway. I received ithe card from nebraska thru mail. however as i indicated before, they failed to backdate my card and i had to file for a new one and I am still waiting for it. It shows that it depends on pure luck. people from same local office waited different times. Can you imagine that some people waited 2 weeks only after their passports were stamped to receive their green cards? Look at the thread and see if you can have a different conclusion.
