Question to gurus

First , i am new to this 485 thread , I had a couple of questions in case anyone can guide me.

1. My 140 and 485 ( for self and spouse were approved ) on Dec 30 2004 , my kids 485 is still pending !! Is there any thing to be concerned about as to why kids 485 has not been approved ?

2. What is the next step, after 485 approval ? Do we get the 485 approval notice.

3. And how do we get the stamping in passport ? , do we need to take any documents.

4. And do we need to change our ssn card to remove the "authorized to work with INS/DHS authorization "

the best thing to do is to wait for the approval notice, then take an appointment using info-pass mechanism. It is tool provided by USCIS to take an appointment. It is on USCIS.gov web page.
