Question to Gurus...regarding extension

Hi,

I plan to file for an extension for my parents. The I-94 is expiring on Nov 13, 2004.
Can someone please help me with the following questions -

1) Do we need one form (I-539) for both parents or do we need two seperate forms for each ?

2) Is one month a sufficient time for sending the application for extension to CIS ?

3) How much time does it normally take to get a reply back from CIS (Receipt and approval/Denial notice). I am filing with NSC

Thanks,

I would say not to delay anymore. I think you are bit short of time.
As such it takes about 6-8 weeks for INS to take a decision.
Also, do not take risk of staying in US with pending application of EOS
once I-94 expires.
If the application is later denied, then your parents are out of status
immediately and all the current visa become void.
If the application is approved then even if they over stay the original I-94
expiry date - they are fine.
