question to any recent I1485 filers at TSC

How long does it usually take for fingerprinting etc? My EB2 I140 was approved last week and I will be getting married the first week of Jan. My atty suggested holding off on filing in case the I485 gets processed as quickly as the I140 (3.5 weeks)

Would it be risky to file my 485 now, and have everything ready to file my spouses 485 in Jan? I'm currently unaffected by retrogression (EB2 rest of world, 2002 PD). Are there any safe way's to delay the case e.g. rescheduling FP to mid Jan?

Also can anyone provide insight into the average processing time for 485's at TSC? The last TSC processing times update said they are currently processing from May 05 cases

Congrats on your wedding. Don't worry, file the forms.
I can bet five grand that you are not gonna get 485 approved before your wedding date. Let me know if interested.

thanks - like you I doubt that anything will happen with the case in the next 5 weeks. I intend to file next week to get my case in the queue and then wait and see....
