Question to 485 guru, is attorney's inquiry useful?

A question to 485 guru:

My 485 case has passed CIS official process date and I asked my attorney to send an inquiry to CIS last week. The attorney said he will wait for 30 days to send another one if no response from CIS.

My question is: is attorney's inquiry powerful enough or do I need to ask Congressman's office to send inquiry again?

I want to keep pressure on CIS but don't want to piss them off by sending too many inquires. Any suggestion is appreciated.
 
I would say ask Congressman for inquiry.

My AP passed the CIS date a couple of monthes ago and my attorney made an inquiry, but nothing happened for 4 weeks. Then I contacted the local Congressman and my AP was approved 2 days after the inquiry from the Congresman's office.
