Question related to out of status impact on GC application

I have an H4-H1 B stamped on my passport which was valid from Oct2001-Sep2003. There on I have a approved H1B extension application with me whihc is not yet stamped as I have not left the country for 3 years now.

My Labor for GC got approved a few months back and I am yet to file the I-140 application. I was on H1 B from Feb 2002 onwards by my payrol started and company's appointment letter appoints me starting May 2002 onwards. the gap of 2 months between my H1 stampming and Payrol starting seems like out of status. Is that true? What can I do so that it does not hinder in getting a Green Card.

Thank for your great service.
Regards
Ria

not out of status

You for sure are not out of status since you were on h4 before you came on H1. Now being on h1 and not working is something to be worried about but its no big deal. I see many people doing that. Just file 140 with experience from joining date or better would be let your Lawyer decide what to do. You should be OK I feel

I am not a lawyer, and this is just my opinion
