Hello everyone,

Hope everyone is doing fine. I am really glad to see all of your answers and dedication in this chat room.

Here is a question related to Finger printing. I received a letter stating to get fingerprinting in Chicago region. But Currently, I am in Texas Temporarily. Is there any way, I could get finger print done in near by INS office in Texas instead of going to Chicago region.

I appreciate your earliest response.

Hope all of you have a nice day.

I think you may have your FP done at the BICS support center within the area you live now. I had such an experience for my 1st FP which was taken 16 months ago. Just contact them and you will find it out . Good luck!

You were mentioning that you are in Texas region temporarily.
If INS has your Chicago address and all correspondence is done to Chicago Address....
INS may think in 2 ways...
(a) FP can be completed in 3 months from the date mentioned. Travelling temporarily, means you could come home to Chicago, so you can do FP in Chicago. OR
(b) For the last 4 or 6 months you have not travelled back to Chicago means, you have moved to Texas region and you have to update your address with INS and submit AR-11 form.

Think..... and do what ever is right for you.
