Question Regarding Stamping

Hi Guys...I have a question...My 485 approved on 06/15/2005, but i have'nt gone for PP stamping yet as according to approval notice i am waiting for biometric notice...
My H1B is expiring in a week..My question is ,do i need to worry, or should i go for PP stamping...Or after 485 approval, H1 does'nt matter...

Pls some one answer??????

Your H1 is invalid once your 485 has been approved and cannot (or needs to) be renewed. You are now a permanent resident!

There is no need for stamping unless you have an urgent need to travel or if your employer is demanding a new proof of work authorization and they can't wait until your card arrives.
