Hello All
I have a silly question. I have three passports. The original expired in 2007 and then I was issued a 1 year passport because I wanted to travel outside US immediately which I never travelled because of the change of plans .And then I was given another 10 year passport at the end of the expiry of 2nd passport.
I have only used second passport to travel outside US since I became GC holder.
Do I need to show all three passports or the one that I used to travel outside the US?

The reason I am asking is because I may have to explain why I have three passports.

You have two expired passports, and one valid passport. You used one of them to travel, and did not use the others. Take all of them with you, and show them your current passport. If they ask for others, show them as well. You should have no trouble at all, as most people keep their expired passports anyway.

Thanks.
I used the first passport and the second one. The latest one I have never used as it was issued late last year.
So what I understand is that I need to show the latest one only and if asked , show others.

Can someone who has been thru the N400 at NYC comment?

You should take all three as the two earlier ones may be used to verify the travel details you listed on the N400
